PatternGeeks LLC (“PatternGeeks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the SeaShell Diary mobile application (“SeaShell Diary” or the “App”) handles information when you use the App.

1. About SeaShell Diary

SeaShell Diary is a personal event-journaling application that allows users to record information about events such as seizures, symptoms, medications, sleep or other health-related experiences. Users may also generate reports from information they enter into the App.

SeaShell Diary is intended to help users organize and document information. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Information you provide

Depending on how you use SeaShell Diary, you may enter information such as:

• Dates and times of events.
• Symptoms or descriptions of events.
• Notes relating to seizures or other health conditions.
• Medications, triggers, or other health-related observations, if supported by the App.
• Other information that you voluntarily enter into diary entries.

Because this information may relate to your health, it may be considered sensitive personal information.

3. How your information is used

Information entered into SeaShell Diary is used to provide the features of the App, including:

• Recording and displaying diary entries.
• Organizing your event history.
• Generating reports or summaries.
• Allowing you to export information, such as a PDF report.
• Supporting functionality you specifically request within the App.

PatternGeeks does not use health information entered into SeaShell Diary for advertising.

4. Storage of information

Information entered into SeaShell Diary is primarily stored locally on your device. PatternGeeks does not receive or maintain a copy of your diary entries unless you intentionally use a feature that transmits information to a service operated by or on behalf of PatternGeeks.

5. Exporting and sharing information

SeaShell Diary may allow you to generate and export reports, including PDF reports.

You control whether you share an exported report with another person or service. For example, you may choose to provide a report to a healthcare professional or upload it to a patient portal.

Once you intentionally send or upload information to a third party, that third party's privacy practices apply to the information you provide to them.

PatternGeeks does not automatically send your diary information to your doctor, healthcare provider, insurance company, employer, or patient portal.

6. Information collected automatically

The App may collect limited technical information necessary for operation, security, diagnostics, and crash troubleshooting, such as device type, operating-system version, app version, and diagnostic information. We do not use this information to create advertising profiles.

7. Sale of personal information

PatternGeeks does not sell health information entered into SeaShell Diary.

PatternGeeks does not sell SeaShell Diary users' personal information for third-party advertising purposes.

8. Advertising

SeaShell Diary does not display third-party advertising.

9. Data retention and deletion

You may delete information you have entered into SeaShell Diary using the functionality available within the App.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with SeaShell Diary.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

SeaShell Diary is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

12. Medical disclaimer

SeaShell Diary is an organizational and journaling tool.

The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, emergency monitoring, or treatment. Information presented or recorded through the App should not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact appropriate emergency medical services.

13. Third-party services

SeaShell Diary may rely on third-party technology providers for functions such as application hosting, diagnostics, authentication, or other technical services.

Where third-party services process information on our behalf, their handling of information may also be governed by their respective privacy policies.

The app currently does not appear to integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, payment, or similar external service SDKs. Codemagic is used for CI/CD and app builds only and is not integrated into the app at runtime. The app does use standard third-party Flutter packages for functionality such as secure storage and connectivity.

14. International users

If you use SeaShell Diary outside the United States, information may be processed in jurisdictions that have different data-protection laws from those in your location, depending on the services used by the App.

15. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SeaShell Diary changes or as legal and regulatory requirements evolve.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
